A Lee Historic Walk and Talk was also held on Sunday 12th June -Gosport's Big Day Out that was part of the Celebrate Gosport Fortnight. Several walkers attended despite the very poor wether condition and the feed back was positive.General view was the Talk was very informative and the many of events that had taken place in Lee over the last 130 years or so, were found to be of great interest. The Walk and Talk was, despite the weather very enjoyable, and it was good to meet up with others with similar interests. Some of  walkers have been living in Lee for less than 2 years

These walks were first established as part of Gosport Borough Council's "Walking the Way to Health" programme. Leaflets containing details of this and other walks are available from Gosport Borough Council Environmental Health and on the GBC Website as well. Leaflets detailing the walks are available from the Gosport Tourist Information Office (GTIC) and from local Libraries in Gosport
