Planning is a very important part of our work in LoSRA, so we have a special Planning Sub-Committee to cover it. We work on your behalf in four main areas:
- Responding to consultations on planning strategy and major developments,. such as the Daedalus site redevelopment
- Reviewing current planning applications, particularly where these are of significant size, or affect sensitive areas, such as the seafront, conservation areas and the High Street
- Drawing residents' attention to important planning applications, via this site and our newsletters
- Offering impartial advice to both applicants and objectors, to help with planning applications
