We Need Your Support to Make a DIFFERENCE
Lee-on-the-Solent Residents Association (LoSRA) works on behalf of the local community to maintain and improve the environment, services and infrastructure, thus ensuring the future development of the area in a way that brings most benefit to all our residents. We also carry out projects and run events for the benefit of members and the community.
We achieve this by:
- Monitoring loval planning applications and making appropriate comments
- Close involvement with the development of Daedalus
- Monitoring and informing members of issues concerning Health, Education, Policing, Environment, etc.
- Taking up issues that are of general importance on behalf of members with Councillors, the police or other organisations
- Initiating projects that will benefit residents
We are represented on various bodies which cover these matters and are often able to influence decisions.
Several times a year we provide a forum to address matters of local interest inviting speak
ers on local, national and general issues.
We provide members with a comprehensive Newsletter three times a year which includes details of what the Association is doing, what is happening in Lee and events we are funning.
Our membership is increasing and the more members we have, the more our voices and views will be heard. amd acknowledged, in matters which directly affect the standard of loving in Lee-on-the-Solent and the surrounding area.
