The Lee Environment
There are 
great opportunities to enjoy the open countryside, a good walk and the natural wildlife of Lee on Solent. With the exception of the sea front promenade the accessible areas lie to the east of Lee, in the strategic gap between Lee and Gosport, broadly grouped in the Alver Valley. There are many interesting open spaces to visit in Gosport, but the descriptions below are confined to the parish of Lee, which lie to the west of the Alver River.
