Theft from Motor Vehicles
Overnight 20th - 21st December 3 vehicles were targeted in Goldfinch Lane , Lee and one in Saunders Close.
We have had several spates of theft from motor vehicles now since the beginning of November , the good news is that one group have been targeted and dealt with and currently have conditions of curfew.
The bad news is there are more out there we are currently looking at individuals who have previous for this sort of offence and have been stopped and searched in the area.
I would ask from you two things
1, for people to be vigilant if you see something suspicious and are not happy call the police either on 101 ,or the 08450454545 number if you believe it is an emergency i.e. they are breaking into a vehicle or walking down the road trying door handles then phone 999.
2, Please please make sure your car is locked and secure most of the vehicles if not all have been left insecure with items either on display or in glove compartments. If you can please make sure all valuables are removed overnight .
