Recent Crime Wave in Lee
Since the 6th November 2011 I'm afraid I have to report that we have suffered 3 Burglaries and 3 theft from motor vehicles.
The Burglaries have happened over night in Skipper Way 6th , during the day in Manor Way 7th and over night 8th - 9th Magister Drive on one occasion with a male being disturbed in the very early hours 03:55 hrs in the premises.
Please do not let the fact that someone was in the house alarm you, this happens on very rare occasions and as in this case they ran away when they realised someone was in the home. But and it’s a big BUT please remember to check all doors and windows are secure before going to be
If you do leave windows open for fresh air or a pet cat etc please make sure that door keys are not within reach this has been a mistake on many an occasion.
The theft from motor vehicle's all happened over night 8th - 9th November all 3 vehicle's were left insecure, Please remind all your scheme members any friends and family about leaving their vehicle insecure and leaving valuables in their cars.
PLEASE LOCK your cars if you need to leave items in the car make sure they are out of sight.
Please remain vigilant , any suspicious incidents or behaviour witnessed please report straight away by ringing 08450454545 or 101 if you consider it an emergency please use 999 especially if you have just seen or are witnessing a theft or burglary.
